The Morning Essential: Maison Bréfort
35 Grande Rue (extension of rue de Lille)
The go-to address for your breakfasts, praised by Gault & Millau.
The Écrins' tip: This is where to get the still-warm "Tradition" baguette and pure butter pastries. The perfect awakening.
Aperitif Time: Chez Guy
4 Rue de Lille
A true institution in the heart of the old town. Come for the warm atmosphere, the beautiful inner courtyard, and their house-brewed beers.
The Écrins' tip: Order one of their generous sharing platters. It's the ideal spot to immerse yourself in Boulogne's conviviality before dinner.
The Signature Table: L'Îlot Vert
Rue de Lille
For a refined culinary experience. Chef Tony Régnier (formerly Michelin-starred) offers creative "bistronomic" cuisine, vibrant and iodine-rich.
The Écrins' tip: The setting is intimate and contemporary. Signature cuisine that celebrates products from the Opal Coast. Reservations essential.
The Casual Alternative: Papi Henri
39 Rue de Lille
Want a no-fuss but high-quality dinner? Forget classic fast food. Here, burgers go gourmet.
The Écrins' tip: Artisan breads, quality meats, and local cheeses (Mimolette, Vieux-Boulogne). A flavorful and comforting option, perfect for a relaxed evening or late arrival.

Everything you need to know to settle comfortably into the neighborhood.
Self-Service Laundromat
Laverie du Centre — 62 Rue de Lille, 62200 Boulogne-sur-Mer

Grocery Shopping
Carrefour Express — 31 Rue Porte Neuve
For daily essentials, open until 8:00 PM. For fruits, vegetables, and local products, visit the Place Dalton market — Wednesday and Saturday mornings, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Parking
Parking de l'Enclos de l'Évêché • Esplanade Mariette
Parking within the ramparts is paid. The Parking de l'Enclos de l'Évêché (130 spaces) is in immediate proximity — our recommended choice. The Esplanade Mariette (344 spaces) offers an alternative for extended stays.
Fish Market
Quai Gambetta — at the port of Boulogne
Every morning, Boulogne fishermen display their day's catch at the stalls on Quai Gambetta. Fresh fish, shellfish, and seafood — arrive early for the best selection. On Sunday mornings, a local produce market sets up alongside, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Beyond the ramparts, the adventure continues.
Urban Boldness: Street Art
Boulogne-sur-Mer has become a global reference for urban art, a true open-air museum. Around every corner, discover over 80 monumental murals by the greatest international artists. A striking dialogue between historic architecture and contemporary creativity.
